The new Cafe del Mar CD (XVI) is now out with our song "Inner Music" included. I wrote the lyrics to this song over 20 years ago! I felt very strongly that one day these lyrics would be a song, but did not know it would be so far in the future!
I just finished a two month run in the Crystal Lounge, WHotel in Doha Qatar, deep in the middle east. It was a fun and fascinating experience and I met some wonderful people!
Now I am currently in New York in the studio working on a new track "Cha Cha Child" with producer Ivica Simatovic, who worked with us on "Soul Connection", the first Cafe del Mar release in 2007.

After 7 years of on and off again work, the "Sky D'Or" (Golden Sky) CD produced by Alexander Voegele is finally released. Alex is a genius composer and arranger, he and I worked together on 10 tracks. in the end, it was all worth the effort to stick with these beautiful tracks, and see them released in style. Yeah! Available in Swiss CD shops and soon online too.

It's hot in the day and wonderfully warm in the evenings here in southern France, and singing in the beach restaurants is another dream come true! The hardest part about these gigs is carrying our equipment down the hundreds of stairs along the sea to get there (& then back up when we are done...). Mala beach next to Monaco is like a secret elegant hideaway lagoon, Passable Beach Restaurant/Lounge on St. Jean Cap Ferat near Nice enjoys sunsets over the mountains behind Nice, reflecting in the sea before us. Playing piano in the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco is fantastic with its view overlooking the Monte Carlo Harbour and the sea stretching out on the other side.
I've had the great pleasure to swim in many different exquisite beaches and have walked many miles with breathtaking scenery. Privately, I'm flat-sharing with a local studio technician/musician who knows just about every musician in town, so that's super! They sometimes have recording/jam sessions in his room til 5 in the morning.

The Dolder Grand Hotel had its re-opening unveiling a splendid renovation and exquisite spa. I had the honor to perform piano solo for the opening events and for the month of june (during the EM which was played at times in Switzerland)in the Lobby. This is the only time I have performed an entire month in a hotel, and it was an absolute delight!

A true honor and double dip of joy. We just received notice that our song "Breakaway" will be on the new upcoming Cafe del Mar CD "Quince" (15, Jubliaum edition, scheduled for release in June 2008). Last year, our song "Soul Connection" was on the CD "Catorce" (14). To be included on this highly respected compilation again is absolutely fantastic. Thank you, all you wonderful people at Cafe del Mar in Ibiza and Madrid!

Joining forces with Dennis M. Bullock, who has travelled extensively with his soul, r n b, dance and funk program, in a project entitled "Groove Cocktail".
We are looking forward to doing some funky house-y remixes of some of your favorite soul hits such as "Stand by Me" and many others, and for the chill zone, some slower r n b mixes combined with Dennis's soulful voice and Jillene's lyrical and lush melodies.
